What Goals do you Want to Achieve?

miniflex Oct 17, 2022

There's, I mean, it does come down to really just kind of taking a step back and, and realizing like, Okay, what I'm doing now? Is it? Is it working for me? Do I have specific goals that I'm working towards? And am I getting closer to that those goals, whether that be body composition, goals, performance goals, overall health goals? So it's really just kind of figuring out like, my, what, where am I at right now and being really realistic with yourself or having someone come in from the outside and help you to take the blinders off and do a little bit of an audit of your, your overall goals and things that you're looking to get, you know, closer to, right. So that's the first thing is just realizing that and saying, Hey, do I am I at where I want to be at?

Or could I, you know, could I be changing things up to get to where I want to be. And so I think with people who are, are are following the lower carb ketogenic diet, you know, if you've gotten to a place where maybe body composition changes are your main goal, maybe you've gotten, you're like, I've been doing keto, for a while, initially, I had some really good results, I was losing body fat, maybe even, you know, getting into the gym a little bit more feeling better, and then it kind of plateaued, you got stagnant. And you've just been there for a while, and you're looking to continue to to change body composition, that might require bringing carbs back in, depending on what you're doing, depending on what your activities like, what your main goal is, in terms of being in the gym, how you know, what type of lifting you're doing, what type of exercise you're doing, and all that. So that's one standpoint, performance standpoint, you know, are you trying to perform better in a sport or something like that, and you're, you're not seeing any performance benefits anymore following a low carb diet. That's something to think about, from a general like, at least from what I've seen with a lot of females from like, a general hormonal and even just like anxiety standpoint, sometimes, you know, bringing carbs back in can actually benefit those things.

Just overall and I think, again, there's there's a few different things within that there's, there's lots of things that actually, but the biggest thing is just being realistic with where you're at and kind of having that audit of what's going on where you're at with your goals and, you know, not being afraid to try something different.
